Based upon the road car Celica Liftback, the car featured aerodynamic components such as bulging over fenders and a rear wing and employed numerous FRP body panels. An extensively modified body and a 2,090cc, 560hp inline-4 DOHC turbo engine were utilised. This car made its debut in July 1977, and in October of the same year, it beat the Porsche 935, achieving its maiden victory.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003e- 1\/24 scale plastic model assembly kit.
