Whether you're a seasoned puzzle enthusiast or a curious novice, this event guarantees an unforgettable experience jam-packed with excitement, challenges, and the opportunity to win an incredible mystery prize. • Price:
• R200 per team to participate
• R50 per team to keep the puzzle that was built.
• This will be payable on the day of the event at the till

Calling All Puzzle Enthusiasts!

Gather your squad of up to four members and brace yourselves for a heart-pumping puzzle-building journey that will put your skills to the ultimate test. This is your chance to bond with your loved ones, unleash your creativity, and showcase your puzzle-solving prowess like never before. Get ready to take on the challenge and be crowned the ultimate puzzle champions!

The Challenge Ahead:

It all begins either at 09:30 AM or 1:30 PM when participating teams will be handed identical puzzles. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to work together and use your wits to piece together the puzzle as swiftly as possible while maintaining accuracy and precision. But beware, the real challenge lies in strategizing, communicating effectively, and making quick decisions to secure your victory. So, are you ready to take on this epic puzzle challenge and emerge victorious?

Rules of the Game:

1. Each team must consist of up to four members but can be less.
2. The competition for session 1 will start at 09:00 AM for 09:30 AM sharp.  Latecomers will unfortunately not be able to join after the event has begun.
3. The competition for session 2 will start at 1:00 PM for 1:30 PM sharp.  Latecomers will unfortunately not be able to join after the event has begun.
4. The two sessions will make use of the same rules, however, there is no correlation or link between the sessions and different puzzles will be provided in each session. 
5. All teams in a session will receive the same 500-piece puzzle to ensure fairness. The puzzles will be different depending on the session.
6. No one gets to see the puzzle until the timer begins – the puzzle boxes are placed face-down and covered before the competition starts.
7. The puzzle-building session will last 2 hours - until either 11:30 PM or 3:30 PM, after which all teams must promptly stop building their puzzles.
8. Although there won't be an official break time during the 2 hours, you can take a break if needed at your own discretion. Please note that the timer will not be stopped if you take a break on your own.
9. Rounds are a specified amount of time; if there is no declared winner by the end of the time limit, the winner is chosen by their remaining number of loose pieces.
10. In the event of a tie, individuals or teams can be given an additional five minutes to work on the puzzle.
11. There are no devices or outside assistance permitted while working on a puzzle.
12. Two moderators help with the event – one to handle the timer and completion times, and another to observe and ensure that competitors are abiding by the rules.
13. Individuals and teams are not allowed to distract or approach team tables when the competition is in progress.
14. Precision and accuracy are key! The team that completes the puzzle correctly in the shortest time will emerge victorious.
15. While teamwork is essential, we also encourage friendly competition and good sportsmanship.
16. Please note: spectators and supporters will NOT be allowed to approach the tables of the participants while the competition is ongoing.

This is the second edition of the event, and trust us, it's going to be even more exhilarating than the first. The winning team of each session will be crowned champions and bask in the glory of their triumph, it's going to be an event you won't want to miss!
