Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after purchasing your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, new and unused, in its original unopened packaging. The item must be in a resalable condition. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

SECTION 1: DAMAGES AND ISSUES

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and rectify, if required. 

SECTION 2: EXCEPTIONS / NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods, custom products and special orders. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

SECTION 3: COST OF RETURNS

Any regular purchased items that you have requested to be returned and have been approved to be returned will carry a delivery charge payable by “you”; being the consumer.

Any items being returned as a warranty claim are subject to the conditions as laid out in the warranty policy. Please refer to section 4 under 'Privacy Policy'. Shipping costs on such returns will be covered by us; Jix Hobbies. Should the claim not be approved as a warranty claim you (the consumer) will be liable for the shipping costs.

SECTION 4: WARRANTIES

Jix Hobbies warrant all products to be free of defects at time of shipping. All products are subject to the manufacturer’s terms and warranties. Any defects will be sent to the official distributing agent for testing, should the test return that the product is defective, we will exchange the product, issue a store credit or refund.

The manufacturer or its official distributing agent will at their sole discretion determine if the repair or replacement can be honoured under the terms of the warranty. Their decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into thereafter.

SECTION 5: EXCHANGES

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, we will issue a store credit which can be used to make a separate purchase for a new item(s).

SECTION 6: REFUNDS

The provision of goods and services by Jix Hobbies is subject to availability.  In cases of unavailability, Jix Hobbies will refund the client in full within 30 days.

With regards to Returns, We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

SECTION 7: EVENT REFUNDS

At Jix Hobbies, we understand that plans can change. We strive to accommodate our customers as much as possible; however, due to the nature of event planning and associated costs, we adhere to a strict refund policy. Attendees may request a full refund for event cancellations made up to one week prior to the event date. Cancellations occurring less than one week from the event date are not eligible for a refund. This policy helps us ensure that we can continue offering high-quality events and experiences to our community.

By booking an event with us, you acknowledge and agree to this refund policy.

SECTION 8: SHOPPING CART

Items placed in the Shopping Cart are not held for you. An order is not placed with us or completed until you've completed the checkout process and did the payment.

Items only remain in the Shopping Cart for a limited time, and may be removed from the Shopping Cart as stock status changes. This will be reflected once you click "Checkout" from your Shopping Cart.

Please take note that items may sell out before you've completed your order or if you leave items in your Shopping Cart.
