Generally, there are four main types of cars of this family. The first one is the MAN LKW 5 t., A truck based on a four-wheeled chassis, used to transport cargo and soldiers. It can be transported by air. The second type is the MAN LKW 7 t. - it is a six-wheeled truck on the chassis of which specialised vehicles are often created or which is a mobile base for other weapons systems. The third type is the MAN LKW 10 t. - an 8-wheeled truck used primarily for the transport of ammunition and fuel in armoured and mechanised units.
