Based upon the road car Celica Liftback, the car featured aerodynamic components such as bulging over fenders and rear wing and employed numerous FRP body panels. An extensively modified body and 2,090cc, 560hp inline-4 DOHC turbo engine were utilized for its racing endeavours.
