Several versions of this aircraft were created, the most important of which are the following: AS.1 (ZOP operations, 183 examples were created), T.2 (training version, 38 examples), and AEW.3 (early warning aircraft, 44 examples). In total, 351 serial machines were built. Firey Gannet aircraft also used three different propulsion units: ASMD.1, ASMD.2 and ASMD.4. with a power from 2950KM to 3875KM. The aircraft was exported to Australia, Germany and Indonesia. It was withdrawn from the British airline in 1978.
