Its production lasted from 1976 to 1981 and was concentrated in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, Germany (West Germany).

The 935 model was developed on the basis of the Porsche 930 (911 Turbo) car and the Carrera RSR model in such a way as to meet the regulatory requirements for cars in the FIA Group 5 races. The designer of the new car was Norbert Singer. The Porsche 935 had a body based on the 930 model, but modified, especially in its front part, and with improved aerodynamic properties. The car was also relatively light, and its weight oscillated around 970-1025 kilograms. Three main versions were produced in the course of production: the 935 Coupe, the 935/77 Coupe and the 935/78 Coupe "Moby Dick". They differed primarily in engines with a displacement of 2.8 to 3.2 liters, which generated power from 485 hp to as much as 845 hp! Moreover, regardless of the version, the Porsche 935 had good traction. All these elements meant that in the second half of the 1970s this model clearly dominated its racing class - suffice it to say that the Porsche 935 started in 370 races, winning 123 of them! The Porsche 935 car competed primarily in the colors of the Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft team (DRM for short).

["Brand_Tamiya","Category_Vehicles","Scale_1/24-1/25 Scale","Type_Civilian / Racing / Rally
"option1":"Default Title","option2":null,"option3":null
["Default Title
["//jixhobbies.co.za/cdn/shop/products/Tamiya---1-20-Porsche-935-Vaillant.jpg?v=1702061074
//jixhobbies.co.za/cdn/shop/products/Tamiya---1-20-Porsche-935-Vaillant.jpg?v=1702061074
Title

1/20 Porsche 935 Vaillant

Tamiya 20071

Excludes all glues, paints and tools necessary to assemble.

1/20 scale plastic model assembly kit.
