Although it was developed relatively quickly, if not hastily, it turned out to be a very successful weapon, relatively cheap to produce and easy to use. The main modification of the SU-76 was the car designated SU-76M (SU-15), in which reliability was improved, one gearbox was used to operate both engines and the vibration level in the car was significantly reduced.
