The Hawker Sea Fury was the Royal Navy's last classic fighter, culminating in the evolution of the Hawker Typhoon and Hawker Tempest aircraft. Initially, the plane was designed for the needs of the RAF, but in 1943. Modifications for the Royal Navy were also started and the first Sea Fury prototype took off two years later. The first prototype did not have folding wings, and only after appropriate modification, an order for 200 aircraft of this type was placed.
