In many Pacific islands, disruptive camouflage patterns were added in Lusterless Black, Earth Red, Earth Brown, or Sand, sometimes applied hastily in the field. LVTs and landing craft frequently retained their Ocean Gray(5-O) finishes, occasionally combined with Olive Drab or field-applied tan colors.
